Editorial Policy
How The DTC creates, reviews, and maintains content on our website.
Our Commitment
The Driving Training Centre (The DTC) is committed to providing accurate, helpful, and up-to-date information for learner drivers, qualified drivers, and driving instructors. All content on this website is created with the goal of helping people become safer, more confident drivers.
Who Writes Our Content
Our content is written by DVSA-approved driving instructors (ADIs) with years of practical experience teaching learners across Edinburgh, The Lothians, Fife, and Dumfries & Galloway. We have been operating since 2003 and have helped thousands of pupils pass their driving test.
Every article, guide, and resource is based on real-world teaching experience and current DVSA standards. We do not use AI-generated content without human review and fact-checking.
How We Ensure Accuracy
- All instructional content is reviewed by qualified ADIs before publication.
- We cross-reference DVSA guidelines and official government sources.
- Content is reviewed and updated at least annually to reflect changes in driving test requirements.
- We welcome feedback from readers, learners, and instructors to improve our content.

Content Updates
