Most learners choose 90 minutes or two hours to allow time to reach suitable practice roads. One-hour lessons are also available. Ten-hour blocks are paid in advance and split into lessons agreed with your instructor.

We require 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson. If less than 48 hours' notice is given, the lesson may still be charged because the instructor's diary slot has been reserved.
Availability
Manual and automatic availability varies by instructor diary. If your exact town is not listed, enquire anyway — nearby instructors may still be able to help.
Test-day use
If you need an instructor car for a practical driving test, ask when booking so we can confirm availability and any test-day arrangements clearly in advance.
Included with your lessons
Your instructor will agree what to work on and record your progress. You can check lesson history, feedback and your balance in the learner portal. Booking confirmations and reminders help you keep track of appointments.
Mock tests can be part of your normal lessons: the usual lesson rate applies to the time used, with no separate charge for the digital test report.

Pricing questions
Do prices vary by area?
Yes. Edinburgh and surrounding instructor-covered areas have standard manual prices of £90 for two hours or £440 for ten hours. Automatic lessons and Dunfermline manual lessons cost £95 and £450 respectively and are excluded from the introductory offers. Ask us to confirm other locations.
Do I have to pay for lessons in advance?
90-minute and 2-hour lessons are paid for at the time of the lesson or in advance. Block bookings of 10 hours must be paid for in full before the first lesson of the block begins.
What happens if I cancel a lesson?
We require at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson without charge. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice will be charged at the full lesson rate. No-shows are also charged in full.
How does the 10-hour block booking work?
A ten-hour block costs £440 for Edinburgh manual lessons, or £450 for automatic and Dunfermline manual lessons. Eligible new customers can choose their first Edinburgh manual block for £400 instead of the first-lesson offer. Blocks are paid in advance; agree lesson times with your instructor before paying.
Are there any hidden fees?
We will confirm the price before you book. If you want to use your instructor's car for your practical test, ask the team to confirm availability, the time needed and the total charge before making arrangements.
Can I switch between manual and automatic lessons?
You can ask to switch, but you may need a different instructor and car. Contact us to check availability and the price before changing.
