Who We Are
The Driving Training Centre (The DTC) is an independent driving school established in 2003. We serve learners across Edinburgh, The Lothians, Fife and Dumfries & Galloway, with availability varying by area and instructor.
Our team helps you find an instructor who covers your area and teaches in the type of car you want to drive. Your instructor then works with you on the skills you need, whether you are starting from scratch or continuing lessons after a break.
We're also proud to offer instruction in multiple languages, including English, Polish, Urdu and Punjabi, subject to instructor availability.

Every instructor at The DTC is a DVSA-approved Approved Driving Instructor (ADI). We are not trainees — we are fully qualified professionals with years of real-world teaching experience.

I've been a driving instructor for 20 years, which means I've seen it all on the roads—and I've taught every type of driver you can imagine. Over the last two decades, my focus has always been the same: I don't just want you to pass your test; I want you to be a driver who keeps yourself and others safe for a lifetime. I am 100% committed to first time passes and keeping those great habits with you forever. When i am not on duty with the Driving Training Centre you might find me on call with the Young Drivers Association teaching 8-16 year olds at the Royal Highland Centre at Ingilston
